Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit intelligenceds.com, who receives it, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who We Are
Intelligence Data Strategy (“IDS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates intelligenceds.com (the “Site”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the handling of client data under a signed consulting agreement, which is governed by that agreement and any accompanying data processing terms.
2. The Short Version
- The Site has no contact form, no login, and no newsletter. We do not ask you to submit personal information in order to browse it.
- Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address.
- Every page loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which uses cookies to measure our advertising and to show you ads on LinkedIn. This is the only advertising or analytics technology on the Site.
- Loading our web fonts discloses your IP address to Google.
- If you book a meeting, you are using Google’s scheduling service and the details you enter go to Google, then to us.
- Your language choice is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us.
- We do not sell personal information for money.
3. Information We Collect
Information you choose to give us. The Site contains no forms or accounts. If you email us, call us, or book a meeting, we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, phone number, employer, and whatever you tell us about your project.
Appointment bookings. Meetings are scheduled through Google Calendar Appointment Schedules. The details you enter are collected by Google under Google’s own privacy policy and then made available to us. We receive your name, email address, the time you selected, and any notes you added.
Information collected automatically. The Site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Our hosting and delivery layer records standard technical data for each request, which may include your IP address, the date and time, the pages and files requested, HTTP status, referring URL, and your browser and operating system.
Information collected by third parties on the Site. See Section 4.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or political data) through the Site, and we ask that you not send them to us.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
LinkedIn Insight Tag. Every page of the Site loads the LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 7087362), operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and LinkedIn Corporation. It sets cookies in your browser and sends LinkedIn information about your visit — including your IP address, device and browser characteristics, the page you are on, and a timestamp. If you are a logged-in LinkedIn member, LinkedIn can associate that visit with your member account. We use it to measure the performance of our advertising, to understand in aggregate which kinds of companies visit us, and to show ads to people who have visited the Site. We do not receive your identity from LinkedIn through this tag — the reporting we see is aggregated. LinkedIn’s own processing is described in its privacy policy.
Google Fonts. Every page loads typefaces from Google’s font servers. Because the request goes directly from your browser to Google, your IP address and browser details are disclosed to Google each time. No cookie is set by this request.
Google Calendar scheduling. The booking window is an embedded Google service and may set its own cookies when opened.
Your language preference. We store your choice of English or Portuguese under the key
site_lang in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device, is never
transmitted to us, and exists only so the Site opens in the language you picked. Clearing your browser
storage removes it.
We do not use any other analytics, tracking, profiling, or advertising technology on the Site.
5. How We Use Information
- To respond to enquiries and to arrange, hold, and follow up on meetings.
- To provide, secure, and maintain the Site, and to diagnose faults and abuse.
- To measure and improve our marketing, including advertising on LinkedIn.
- To keep business records and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use the information collected through the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Our Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Brazil)
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or Brazil’s LGPD applies, we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — for keeping the Site available and secure, for responding to business enquiries, and for basic measurement of our marketing, balanced against your interests and rights.
- Steps prior to a contract — for handling booking requests and discussing a possible engagement.
- Consent — for advertising and analytics cookies, where consent is required in your jurisdiction. You can withdraw consent at any time using the controls in Section 8; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
- Legal obligation — for records we are required to keep.
7. Who Receives Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose it only as follows:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and content delivery for the Site.
- Google — web fonts on every page, and appointment scheduling if you book a meeting.
- LinkedIn — through the Insight Tag on every page of the Site, as described in Section 4.
- Our email and business-productivity providers — for correspondence and internal records.
- Professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers) where necessary, under duties of confidence.
- Authorities or other parties where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
8. Advertising Choices and Your Controls
Under some US state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended — using an advertising tag such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can stop it in any of these ways:
- Opt out on LinkedIn. Adjust the advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings, and use LinkedIn’s opt-out for members and non-members.
- Block cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete third-party cookies for a site. This will stop the tag from functioning.
- Use a tracking-protection feature or extension. Many browsers block advertising tags by default.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal. Where the law requires us to honour it, we treat an opt-out preference signal from your browser as a valid request to stop sharing.
- Contact us at Contact@IntelligenceDS.com and we will action your request.
Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to read the Site or to book a meeting.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States and the Site is hosted there. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Brazil, or elsewhere outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as implemented by our providers. You may contact us for more detail.
10. How Long We Keep Information
- Server logs — typically a short rolling period set by our hosting provider, then deleted or aggregated.
- Enquiries and booking records — for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and then for our ordinary business-record retention period, unless you ask us to erase them sooner.
- Advertising cookies — for the lifetime LinkedIn sets for them, or until you delete them.
- Language preference — until you clear your browser storage.
Where we are required to keep records for tax or legal reasons, we keep them for the period the law requires.
11. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. We apply access controls and least-privilege practices to the systems that hold enquiry and booking information, and we keep our hosting configuration under review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information by email before appropriate agreements are in place.
12. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; receive it in a portable format; withdraw consent; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of them, email Contact@IntelligenceDS.com with enough detail for us to identify the information concerned. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authority; we do not charge a fee except where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your data protection authority — in the EEA or UK, your national supervisory authority; in Brazil, the ANPD.
13. Children
The Site is a business-to-business site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revised version takes effect when posted and the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to highlight it.
15. Contact Us
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be sent to Contact@IntelligenceDS.com, by phone on (801) 747-9979, or by post to Intelligence Data Strategy, 9980 S 300 W, Ste 200, Sandy, UT 84070, USA.
